From Computer, Just browse and select the file you want to show.
You just have to keep in mind, the pixel sizes and the memory size. My avatar is like.. 63kb?
1kb off.
While if it's from URL, copying the direct link into the bar would be enough.

how to make resize them? i want to put one but its to big or so.
