Names with alt codes.

So there has been a lot of questions about how we will be handling the special characters people have in their in-game name. As we now know, players who made a name prior to 2009 were able to use alt characters. We will not be banning all players who have these characters in their name as we previously stated. However, in order to differentiate a legit player from a hacker, we need to remove all the alt characters from the name. So we will be offering a free name change to any player that played pre-2009 and has one or more of these symbols in their name. We ask all players who have such names to send in a ticket with the following information:

1. IJJI User Name
2. In-Game Name
3. Three choices of a new name

Once we have the ticket we will update your call-sign. We stress that you inform any player with an alt character in their call-sign to read this post and submit a ticket.

The only characters that are allowed are the alphabetic English letters (a-z) and numbers (0-9).
Anything else is unacceptable. I repeat, unacceptable!

Are underscores or dashes allowed? Just for clarification.

No dashes or underscores or any type of brackets. Just what i stated above.

Unfortunately, underscored and brackets aren't allowed anymore.
We need to be patient anyway. It's for the best.

Clan names are okay. For now. :p
